The West Vancouver Memorial Library has an exciting series of talks and workshops coming up in April, which is Earth Month. There are a number of free sessions for the public in order to promote sustainability, raise awareness around climate issues, and encourage people in the community to take initiative and protect the environment. Here are some of the events offered:
- Container Vegetable Gardening 101 – Thursday, April 14 – 7 to 8:30 pm in the Welsh Hall
- Whales, Dolphins and Porpoises around Vancouver – Saturday, April 16 – 2 to 4 pm in the Welsh Hall
- Sustainability for Our Community – Thursday, April 21 – 7 to 8:30 pm in the Welsh Hall
- Author Talk – Bee Time with Mark Winston – Wednesday, April 27 – 7 to 8:30 pm in the Welsh Hall
